Luke Scavuzzo - Continued Commitment
Dear Friends and Supporters
When I began my campaign for the Missouri House of Representatives in 2006, I pledged to bring the values of service, trust and respect back to our community and to return the 124th State Representative District to all the people of the district. I have honored that commitment and will continue to do so.
Trust is not a prize politicians get for winning. It must be earned every day by hard work. I hope I have earned your trust by representing our community with the highest standards, ensuring that our needs and values are heard in Jefferson City. I respect all members of my community and believe they should all be valued equally. I have and will continue to serve my community with the convictions of honesty and integrity.
There is still a lot of work to do. We need to increase economic development and job growth by attracting quality jobs that provide good wages, quality health care and employment security to all Missourians. We need to improve our education system from pre-kindergarten to college. We need to make college more affordable for every student who wishes to continue their education. We need to fix our health care crisis. We must restore the Medicaid cuts and ensure that all our children have health care.
I do sincerely thank each and every one of you for the confidence that you have shown in me. I hope I can count on your continued support and confidence as we begin this election season of 2008!
